Each season I adopt a slogan that I believe will help me in my fishing and in life in general. For example, my 2006 slogan was "Back to the Basics". For 2007 I'm going to "Take it to the Next Level" in my fishing, my relationship with Jesus Christ, my family, my ministry, etc. This really boils down to just one thing. . . giving my all for God in every area of my life.

Godly Example

Alton my name is Mike Bruner and I live in Calif. I just want to let you know what a blessing and testimony to other Godly men you are. You can still do the fun things that we like to do but also have our Heavenly Father running the show for us. I was chosen to be a marshall for the Clear Lake tourney and I have been praying daily that I would be able to ride with you. Will just have to see what God's will is. If not I can't wait to meet you and shoot the bull. Keep up your example and telling others about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hello my friend Alton ! Its been a while since I have spoken with you but I know how busy you have been since winning the classic. Please check out my website and give me a call at your leisure. I need some advice and I trust your judgement because I know where your heart is.
You know, there is scripture that says God will test you so that YOU may know where your heart is, not Him. He already knows.
